About the Association
The Dampffreunde Brienz Rothorn Bahn association is committed to keeping the wonderful steam operation running as it is, despite many obstacles and the demands of today's railway regulations. The railway is to be preserved and cared for, flourishing as a living relic of times long past.
For the supporters' association, it is important that the authentic steam operation, with its beautiful locomotives, does not vanish into a museum but can be seen in daily service throughout the summer. Not to mention that this also requires long-forgotten roles such as the fireman.
The challenges are great, but united, with plenty of goodwill and even more emotion, our supporters have already been granted moments of true happiness in recent years.
